What does PackForAI actually do?
It turns PDF, DOCX, PPTX, XLSX, CSV and JSON files into clean, structured Markdown that AI models read accurately, plus a compact version that uses far fewer tokens. You get the cleaned files in one ZIP with a token report.
What is OCR recovery and who needs it?
Some PDFs are scanned images or have broken text layers, so copied text comes out garbled. Pro's OCR rebuilds the real text from the page images. Free and Day Pass do not include OCR.
What is the Day Pass for?
It is a one-time $2.99 purchase that unlocks full Pro throughput (100 conversions, 50 MB files, 3 jobs) for 24 hours, with no subscription. It also includes up to 30 OCR pages for scanned or broken-text PDFs. Ideal when you occasionally have a few large or scanned files.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Pro is billed through Lemon Squeezy and you can cancel from the billing portal at any time; access continues until the period ends.
Are my documents private? Where are they stored?
Yes. Your files and outputs are stored in the European Union (Google Cloud, Frankfurt), scoped to your account only, and never used to train AI. They are kept for your plan's retention window (7 days on Free and Day Pass, 30 days on Pro), then removed. See the Privacy page for full details.
Do you offer student or regional discounts?
Yes. Students and educators get 50% off — email info@packforai.com from your school address for a code. We also offer regional pricing: if you're visiting from an eligible country, a discount code appears at the top of this page automatically.
Is there an API?
Yes, on the Pro plan. Convert documents from your own code and pipelines: submit a file, poll for status, and get clean Markdown back. See the API docs at packforai.com/docs.
What counts as one conversion?
One uploaded file equals one conversion, no matter how many pages or sheets it has. A 40-page PDF or a multi-sheet workbook still counts as a single conversion.
What happens if I reach the OCR page limit?
On Pro, OCR covers 100 pages per month (up to 30 per job). If you reach the monthly limit, OCR pauses until it resets the next month; your normal conversions keep working.
