Privacy Policy

We collect account information such as email address, display name, authentication provider data, and plan status when you sign in.

When you upload a document, we store the original file, generated Markdown outputs, token estimates, job status, and package metadata needed to deliver the service.

If you upgrade, Lemon Squeezy processes the payment and sends PackForAI subscription status, customer identifiers, plan identifiers, and customer portal URLs. We do not store card numbers.

Uploaded files are used to extract document text and generate document.md, compact.md, manifest.json, README_FOR_AI.md, and package.zip.

PackForAI does not make uploaded documents public. Access is scoped to the authenticated user who uploaded the file.

On the Pro plan, you can optionally enable OCR Recovery to rebuild text from scanned or broken-text PDFs. When you turn it on, the page content is sent to Google Cloud Document AI for text recognition. OCR runs only when you explicitly enable it; the Free plan and the Day Pass do not include OCR.

We do not use your uploaded documents or generated outputs to train any AI models, and we do not sell or share your document content.

Our processors (Google Cloud, including Document AI) do not use content sent through their APIs to train their models, under their data-processing terms.

Your uploaded documents and generated outputs are stored in the European Union (Google Cloud Storage, Frankfurt / europe-west3). Account and job metadata is stored in the EU (Cloud Firestore, Europe).

Application requests are currently processed by Google Cloud Run in the United States, and optional OCR (Pro) is processed by Google Cloud Document AI in the United States, so document content transits the US during active processing. Data at rest remains in the EU.

Google Cloud encrypts data in transit and at rest by default. Payments are handled by Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record.

Generated outputs are retained for 7 days on the Free plan and on the Day Pass, and for 30 days on the Pro plan, after which they are removed automatically. The uploaded original is removed on the same schedule.

You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing info@packforai.com. We may keep limited operational records (job metadata, billing event logs, usage limits) as needed to run the product, meet legal obligations, and prevent abuse.

Google Cloud / Firebase — authentication, document and output storage (EU), and metadata (EU).

Google Cloud Document AI (US) — optional OCR text recognition on the Pro plan.

Lemon Squeezy — payment processing and subscription management as merchant of record.

We use Firebase Analytics to understand product usage, such as uploads started, jobs created, downloads clicked, checkout started, and sign-in intent.

Analytics events are designed to avoid document contents and direct personal document data.

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you can withdraw consent or object to processing, by emailing info@packforai.com.

For deletion requests we remove your account, uploaded files, and generated outputs, subject to limited records we must retain for legal and anti-abuse purposes.

PackForAI uses Firebase Authentication, Firestore rules, Storage rules, server-side job validation, and private worker access to protect user data.

No system can be guaranteed perfectly secure, but the product is designed so users cannot access another user's files, jobs, or billing profile through the client application.
